Turkey: Bursaspor Lead the Race for Henry Onyekuru

Bursaspor is poised to make a major move in the transfer market as it engages in advanced talks to secure the services of Nigerian winger Henry Onyekuru.

Currently a free agent, the Nigerian international could sign a six-month contract, with an option to extend his stay. He would be a significant and experienced addition for the Turkish club, which hopes to boost its offense for the second half of the season.

However, fans will have to be patient before seeing their new signing in action in official competition. Due to strict regulations from the Turkish Football Federation, the former Galatasaray player cannot be registered until the January transfer window opens.

While he will be allowed to train immediately with the team to get into shape, he will have to wait until the new year to make his debut on the field in his new colors.
