UCL : Barça to file complaint against PSG over tifo

FC Barcelona are preparing to file a complaint with UEFA against Paris Saint-Germain following the French club’s 4-2 victory at the Parc des Princes. However, the Catalan club’s anger has nothing to do with the result. Instead, Barça’s management has taken issue with a controversial tifo displayed by PSG supporters during the Champions League clash.

According to Catalan media, the Parisian ultras unveiled a display bearing the message “Massacre à la parisienne” alongside an explicit illustration inspired by the horror film The Texas Chain Saw Massacre. Barcelona’s leadership reportedly considers the choreography highly inappropriate and intends to bring the matter to UEFA’s attention.

The display has therefore sparked controversy beyond the action on the pitch, adding another chapter to the rivalry between the two European giants.

Barcelona’s planned complaint could now put UEFA in a position to examine the supporters’ display and determine whether it breached any applicable regulations. The Catalan club wants the European governing body to take note of the incident, although the outcome of any potential proceedings remains uncertain. For now, PSG can celebrate their 4-2 triumph, while the controversy surrounding the tifo threatens to prolong tensions between the two clubs.
