WAFCON 2026: Cameroon Dismantle Malawi to become Champions.

Cameroon have made history by lifting their maiden TotalEnergies Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) title after dismantling Malawi 3-0 in a dominant final.

The Indomitable Lionesses wasted little time asserting their authority, with Marie Ngah Manga opening the scoring to give Cameroon a 1-0 lead.

Cameroon continued to control proceedings and were rewarded with a second goal when Naomi Eto doubled their advantage, leaving Malawi with a mountain to climb.

Ngah Manga then completed her brace to put the contest beyond Malawi’s reach and cap a remarkable individual performance.

The 3-0 victory sparked jubilant celebrations as Cameroon secured their first-ever WAFCON crown.

For the Indomitable Lionesses, it was a landmark triumph and a moment of history as they were crowned 2026 African champions for the first time.

History for Cameroon. Champions of Africa.
