Ghana’s Black Queens and Côte d’Ivoire have announced their starting lineups for a crucial encounter, with both sides battling for a place at the FIFA Women’s World Cup.

Ghana coach Kim Lars Björkegren has retained goalkeeper Cynthia Konlan in goal, with the defensive unit featuring Simon, S. Duah and G. Asantewaa. Cudjoe adds further protection in midfield, while Princess, Shantel Boye-Hlorkah, Boaduwaa and Nyamekye provide attacking options.

Côte d’Ivoire, meanwhile, will be marshalled by goalkeeper Konan L in a lineup led by captain Amani. Yapo, Diakite M, Elloh and Kouassi are also named in the starting XI, while Gbehi, Konan, Dagba, Fofana and Sery complete the Ivorian side.

With a FIFA Women’s World Cup place at stake, the encounter carries enormous significance for both nations.
