Zambo Anguissa’s future at Napoli remains uncertain as Inter Milan keeps a close eye on his contract situation. The Cameroon international has a deal with the Partenopei until June 2027, but negotiations over an extension have stalled.
With Inter monitoring the developments, the midfielder could become an attractive option for the Nerazzurri if he reaches the end of his contract without an agreement.
According to Tuttosport, salary demands have created the main obstacle in the negotiations. Anguissa currently earns around €3.6 million net per season at Napoli, while his representatives reportedly want close to €6 million for him to extend his stay. The significant gap between the two sides has slowed discussions and could eventually push the midfielder towards the exit.
Inter already knows Anguissa well and has followed his career since his time at Olympique de Marseille. The Milan club renewed its interest in 2025 as the player’s Napoli contract moved closer to its final year. If Anguissa and Napoli fail to reach an agreement, Inter could take advantage of the situation and attempt to sign the experienced midfielder as a free agent at the end of the 2026-27 season.
