Raja Casablanca are hosting Egypt’s Al Ahly in the return leg of the CAF Champions League quarterfinal this Friday. The game to take place at Stade Mohammed V with kick-off time 22:00 GMT, will be under the supervivion of Senegalse officer Maguette N’Diaye.
Despite the toughness of their clash against the Moroccan side in the second leg of the champions league quarter-finals, the Egyptian giants are ready for this decisive clash.
The Red Devils got a first leg advantage after their 2-1 win in Cairo earlier this week.
The narrow 2-1 win Al Ahly got in Cairo during the first earlier this week is an advantage. However the task will not be easy for the Reds in this second leg. A 1-0 win for the hosts would be sufficient for them to secure their place in the competition’s semis.
The meeting looks tensed and nervy following the first leg’s incidents which led the Moroccan side to file a complaint with the CAF against the referee of the game after awarding two penalties to Ahly and sending off team’s defender Hadhoudi.
“The game will not be easy.” Ahly international keeper Mohamed El-Shennawi told the pre-match news conference on Thursday.
“But we are used of this kind of clashes. And we are ready for this game.
“We have many experienced players who know how to manage this sort of games.”
Ahly will regain the services of their classy fullback Ali Maaloul who missed the first-leg due to a muscle injury.
An important boost for the ten-time African champions given the great capacities and experience of the Tunisian international.
On the other hand, Raja coach Rachid Taoussi admitted that his side’s mission will be very tough, adding that they are prepared for all scenarios of this important game.

The Moroccan side announced that around 45.000 supporters will be present in Mohamad V Stadium to boost their chances.
