Portuguese midfielder Bernardo Silva has extended his contract for three other years with Manchester City.
The 29-year was heavily linked with a move away from the Etihad this summer with PSG and Barcelona interested in signing him.
However, Pep Guardiola did all his possible to keep the former Monaco star after Riyad Mahrez’s move to Al-Ahli Jeddah.
And the Spanish tactician can be happy with Silva’s extension for three additional years.

“Bernardo Silva has signed a new Manchester City contract, keeping him at the Club until the summer of 2026”, teh club wrote in a statement.
Bernardo himself shared his delight after ppenning this new contract and is eager to win more trophies with the Skyblues.
“I’ve had six incredible years at Manchester City and I’m delighted to extend my time here,” he said.
“Winning the Treble last season was extremely special and it’s exciting to be part of a squad where there is such a hunger and passion.
“Success makes you want even more, and this Club gives me that opportunity to keep on winning.
“I love the manager, my team-mates and the fans and hope we can share even more great memories in the coming years.”
