Burkina Faso international Issa Kabore wrote his name in gold in his country’s football history after winning the Community Shield title with Manchester City on Saturday.
The 23-year old right-back was in the Cityzens match squad and had the opportunity to secure a winners’ medal as he lifted the first trophy of his young career at Wembley.
With that triumph, Issa Kabore is now the first-ever Burkina Faso player to win the Community Shield.
He has one year remaining in his current contract with the Etihad-baed outfit and is likely to leave the club this summer.
