Rangers International, the 2023–2024 Nigeria Premier Football League champions, have advanced to the second preliminary round of the 2024–2025 CAF Champions League.
The Flying Antelopes defeated U.S. Zilimadjou, the champions of Comoros Island, 2-1 overall in a two-leg match that was settled at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo.
The game-winning goal for Rangers in the first leg came from a header by Uwumiro Frank in the 22nd minute after a well-treaded corner ball by Agu Kenechukwu.

The second leg concluded with one goal each.
Ekeson Okorie was hauled down within the Zilimadjou box, and Kenechukwu Agu converted from the penalty to put the Flying Antelopes ahead.
The visitors pulled back the equaliser as the game ended 1-1 with Rangers securing their ticket to the next round.
