Kigezi Home Boyz and Blacks Powers have confirmed new head coaches ahead of the 2026/27 StarTimes Uganda Premier League season.
Kigezi have named experienced Kefa Kisala to take over the side following the departure of Sadiq Sempigi who joined Volcanoes. Kisala has previously managed Express, URA, Wakiso Giants, Masaka LC and BUL among others.
Blacks Power have also named Simon Peter Mugerwa to steer them into the premiership.
“CAF A Coach Simon Peter Ssalongo Mugerwa is our new Head Coach heading into the 2026/27 UPL season,” read a club statement.
“Coach Mugerwa will work alongside Coach Michael Lukyamuzi “Skillz” and the entire technical team that guided the Black Warriors to UPL promotion from the FUFA Big League.”
The premier league season kicks off on August 28 and the two sides will be targeting survival.
