SC Villa got their first win of the season edging hosts URA 1-0 at Hamz stadium, Nakivubo.
Reagan Mpande got the decisive goal in the first half in a game Villa ended with ten men after Mpagi was sent off for a second bookable offence.
The winger got the only goal in the 22nd minute off Frank Ssebuufu knock down after decent work by Ibrahim Kasinde down the left flank after he robbed Moses Aliro of possession and put in a beautiful cross.
Villa were the better side in the first half but URA came out better in the second hitting the cross bar twice and also denied by brilliant goalkeeping by David Lukwago.
It was the first defeat for URA who face Kitara next week on September 10 a day after SC Villa play cross city rivals Express at Mutesa II stadium, Wankulukuku.
Villa are 5th on the table with four points while URA are just a position and a point below. The league will continue next week with match day three getting underway on Tuesday.
