WAFU-A U-17: Sierra Leone Stars coach urges discipline focus and hunger for results in Senegal

Sierra Stars Head Coach Patrick Bangura has urged his young players to demonstrate greater discipline, maintain focus, and show a strong hunger for results as they prepare to enter the WAFU-A U-17 Tournament on Monday, September 7 against The Gambia

Bangura stressed that success at the tournament will require more than just talent, urging the players to remain committed, disciplined, and determined to deliver positive results for Sierra Leone.

While addressing the Sierra Stars U-17 boys ahead of the WAFU-A U17 Tournament, Sierra Leone U17 Head Coach Patrick Bangura singled out one of the country’s finest young talents, attacking midfielder Momoh I Kamara, who plays for IF Elfsborg in America

Coach Bangura used Momoh as a specific example of the discipline, focus, and hunger required to succeed at the highest level. “Momoh is a player who is so disciplined. He doesn’t relax, feel comfortable, or feel content with his performance,” Coach Bangura affirmed.

Asserting his confidence, Coach Bangura stated that the team is technically and tactically ready for the tournament. “We have planned technically and tactically on how to approach The Gambia and the other teams in the tournament. We are confident in our approach as we look forward to the tournament.”
