Hervé Renard Names 25 Man Côte d’Ivoire Squad for Ghana, Somalia and Cameroon Clashes

Côte d’Ivoire head coach Hervé Renard has named a 25 man squad for the national team’s upcoming fixtures against Ghana, Somalia and Cameroon during the September/October 2026 FIFA international window.

The squad features a blend of established internationals and emerging talents, with Renard including three goalkeepers, eight defenders, seven midfielders and seven attackers.

Among the notable selections are 20 year olds Eddy Doué and Rayan Fofana, who have earned their first senior call ups to the Côte d’Ivoire national team.

Fofana is eligible to represent the Elephants despite having previously featured for France at youth international level. His inclusion marks a new chapter in his international career as he joins the Ivorian setup alongside Doué.

Côte d’Ivoire will face Ghana, Somalia and Cameroon as part of their upcoming international programme, with Renard set to assess his squad across the three fixtures as the Elephants continue preparations for their next competitive challenges.
