Ghana’s Black Starlets have been handed a challenging schedule in the WAFU Zone B U-17 tournament, which will serve as the country’s qualification pathway to the 2027 Africa U-17 Cup of Nations in Morocco.
The five-time U-17 world champions will begin their campaign against Togo on October 10, before facing Benin three days later.
Ghana will conclude their group-stage campaign against Burkina Faso on October 16, with all three matches crucial to their hopes of progressing to the knockout stages.

October 13: 🇬🇭 Ghana vs 🇧🇯 Benin
October 16: 🇬🇭 Ghana vs 🇧🇫 Burkina Faso
The semi-finals are scheduled for October 20, while the tournament final will be played on October 23.
With the competition serving as the qualification route to the 2027 U-17 AFCON, Ghana will be aiming to navigate the WAFU Zone B tournament successfully and secure a place at the continental finals in Morocco.
The Black Starlets will therefore have little room for error as they begin their quest to return Ghana to the U-17 AFCON stage and compete for another continental title.
