Asante Kotoko left-back Patrick Asiedu has vowed that the Porcupine Warriors will do everything possible to secure all three points against Swedru All Blacks as they seek to avoid a repeat of last season’s disappointments.
Kotoko are preparing for a crucial Ghana Premier League encounter against the newly promoted side, with Asiedu insisting that the team is determined to approach the fixture with the right mentality and secure a positive result.
The defender stressed that the Kumasi-based club would not allow the setbacks they experienced last season to affect their ambitions in the ongoing campaign.
“We are not going to let what happened last season repeat itself; we are going all out for the three maximum points at Swedru,” Asiedu said.
His comments underline Kotoko’s determination to maintain consistency and collect maximum points, particularly in matches where dropped points could prove costly in the title race.
Swedru All Blacks will be eager to make home advantage count, but Kotoko will travel with the intention of imposing themselves and returning to Kumasi with a victory.
With the Ghana Premier League campaign gathering momentum, Asiedu and his teammates will be keen to back their confidence with a strong performance and deliver the result their supporters expect.
