Ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, Panama has named its 26-man squad, as the Canaleros prepare for their second campaign in the competition’s history.
The team will compete in a particularly challenging group alongside Croatia and England.
Under the leadership of Thomas Christiansen, the Canaleros hope to take a step forward this time and secure their first victory in the competition.
Among the players called up are several familiar faces, starting with Amir Murillo, the former Olympique de Marseille defender who was already part of the 2018 World Cup squad.
Midfielder Adalberto Carrasquilla and veteran Alberto Quintero round out the core of the team.
After a difficult debut in Russia, where they failed to earn a single point, Panama aims to be more competitive.
