The Zambia senior Women National Team got down to business in Cuiaba after shaking off the rigours of a long-haul flight with an intense session at Cuiaba ESporte Clube.
Assistant coach Charles Haalubono and his technical staff ran the rule on the lasses as they acquainted themselves with the fairly humid conditions in Cuiaba.
The team is expected to be beefed up by foreign based players that are expected to join camp in Brazil ahead of Saturday’s opening match against Canada to be played at the Arena Pantanal at 15h00 local time (21h00 Zambian time).
Zambia will then play hosts Brazil on Tuesday at 21h30 local time (03h00 Zambian time) before winding up their campaign April 18 against South Korea.
The FIFA Series is a biennial invitational football tournament promoted by FIFA that features international friendlies between national teams from different confederations.
