Lionel Messi entered the final with eight goals and needed a hat-trick against Spain to overtake Mbappé, but Argentina lost 1-0 after extra time, leaving the Inter Miami star in second place once again. Jude Bellingham completed the podium after scoring against France to reach seven goals.
Erling Haaland also finished on seven goals, while Ousmane Dembélé and Harry Kane shared fifth place with six goals each. Spain’s Mikel Oyarzabal claimed seventh place with five goals, while Ismaïla Sarr, Julián Quiñones and Vinícius Júnior rounded out the top 10 with four goals apiece.
