Black Princesses Handed Tough U20 World Cup Draw in Poland

Ghana’s Black Princesses have been drawn in a challenging Group C for the upcoming FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup in Poland this September, where they will face former champions France, Asian powerhouse South Korea, and South American representatives Ecuador.

The draw sets up a difficult path for the West African side as they prepare to compete against some of the strongest youth teams in women’s football on the global stage.

The Black Princesses, one of Africa’s representatives at the tournament, will be aiming to make a strong impression despite being placed in what many observers consider one of the competition’s toughest groups.

France head into the tournament as one of the favourites, boasting a strong pedigree in women’s football development, while South Korea are expected to bring their trademark technical quality and tactical discipline. Ecuador, meanwhile, will be eager to prove themselves against elite opposition and could pose a significant threat.

Ghana will now intensify preparations ahead of the tournament as the team seeks to progress beyond the group stage and make history at the FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup.

The tournament is scheduled to take place in Poland in September.
