Davide Ancelotti officially begins a new chapter in his career after LOSC Lille appointed him as head coach. The 36-year-old Italian signs a contract until 2028 and succeeds Bruno Genesio on the Lille bench.
LOSC president Olivier Létang chose a bold option by entrusting the team to a young coach who has already gained experience alongside some of the biggest names in European football.
Davide Ancelotti built his reputation while working with his father, Carlo Ancelotti, at clubs such as Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, Napoli, Everton, and the Brazilian national team. He also managed Botafogo before returning to an assistant role with Brazil.
Now, LOSC Lille gives him the opportunity to lead a major European club on his own. The Italian coach arrives with the mission of continuing the club’s recent progress and guiding LOSC in both domestic and European competitions.
