Demba Ba is officially the new sporting director of Le Havre AC. The club, the oldest in France, officially announced today the appointment of the former Senegalese international to head its sporting department.
Former Newcastle and Chelsea player Demba Ba played in several leagues before transitioning into sports management. He arrives at Le Havre after a successful stint at Dunkerque in French Ligue 2, where he served as managing director.
There, he contributed to structuring the project, developing recruitment, and promoting young players. At Le Havre, he succeeds Mathieu Bodmer and joins a development project led by shareholder Blue Crow, which aims to strengthen the club’s sporting structure and reach a new level.
In his new role, Demba Ba will be joined by Quentin Rauzier, formerly of Paris FC, as sporting coordinator, and Romain Decool, in charge of recruitment. With this appointment, the Normandy club officially announces a new sporting organization and begins a new chapter in its development project.
