The Lesotho Boys U-20 team, Makoanyane XI, will on Monday troop into a month-long training camp at Bambatha Tšita Sports Arena in preparation for the CAF U20 AFCON Qualifiers, which will take place during the COSAFA Under-20 Championship from September 21st to 30th.
Makoanyane XI coach Mr. Motolo Makepe and his technical team have named a squad of 25 players expected to report for camp at the LeFA headquarters on Monday, June 15th.
Makoanyane XI will be looking to play in the continental competition for the third time, having qualified for the 2005 edition under the late Seepheephe “Mochine” Matete in Benin and again in 2011 in South Africa under Leslie Notši.
The intensive month-long programme will also include several friendly matches to test the squad’s readiness for the regional tournament, which will also serve as the zonal qualifiers.
