Manchester United enter race for Christian Kofane

Manchester United have joined the growing list of clubs interested in Christian Kofane. The 20-year-old Cameroonian striker has attracted attention with his performances for Bayer Leverkusen, prompting the Red Devils to explore the possibility of signing him as they look to strengthen their attack.

Kofane joined Leverkusen from Albacete last year and quickly impressed the German club’s hierarchy. Leverkusen now wants to extend his contract, which currently runs until 2029, but negotiations have stalled amid growing interest from major European clubs.

According to Sport Bild, Arsenal have followed the striker for several months and established contact with his representatives in the spring.

Manchester United have now entered the race after also contacting Kofane’s camp. The growing interest puts Leverkusen under pressure as the club tries to retain one of its most promising young forwards. With Arsenal and United monitoring the situation closely, Kofane could become one of the names to watch in the upcoming transfer market.
