Real Madrid : Florentino Pérez hints at major transfer moves

Florentino Pérez broke his silence during an interview with Josep Pedrerol on El Chiringuito and addressed several major topics surrounding Real Madrid. The club president defended Kylian Mbappé after recent criticism and praised the French star for his performances this season, insisting that he fully understands the responsibility that comes with playing for Real Madrid.

Pérez also reacted to reports about tensions inside the dressing room following the altercation between Aurélien Tchouaméni and Fede Valverde, while stressing that such matters should remain internal.

The Real Madrid president also confirmed that the club plans to strengthen the squad during the next transfer window. Without revealing specific targets, Pérez recalled the many world-class players he previously brought to Madrid, including Zinédine Zidane, Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema.

He also addressed Vinicius Jr.’s contract situation, explaining that there is no urgency despite growing speculation around the Brazilian forward. According to reports in Spain, Real Madrid could reduce the size of the squad before completing new arrivals during what already promises to be an important summer for the club.
