She Corporate FC, Kawempe Muslim Ladies FC battle for glory

The 2025/26 Finance Trust Bank FUFA Women Super League season reaches its climax this Sunday with the league title set to be decided on the final day in what promises to be a tense and dramatic grand finale.

After months of consistency, resilience and outstanding performances, both She Corporate FC and Kawempe Muslim Ladies FC remain firmly in contention heading into Matchday 22, with only one point separating the two title challengers.

League leaders She Corporate FC sit top of the standings with 50 points, while Kawempe Muslim Ladies FC closely trail on 49 points, setting up a thrilling conclusion to one of the most competitive campaigns in recent seasons.

At the centre of the title showdown will be She Corporate FC’s home encounter against She Maroons FC at the FUFA Technical Centre, Njeru, while Kawempe Muslim Ladies FC host Olila High School WFC at Kawempe Muslim SS Ground.

For She Corporate FC, the equation is simple. Victory guarantees them the league crown regardless of results elsewhere. A draw could also prove enough, but only if Kawempe Muslim Ladies FC fail to defeat Olila High School WFC.

Head coach Belyse Ininahazwe believes her side is ready for the challenge ahead after an impressive campaign. ‘We have worked hard throughout the season to reach this moment. The players understand what is at stake and we are focused on finishing the job,’ said Ininahazwe.

Kawempe Muslim Ladies FC, meanwhile, must secure maximum points and hope She Corporate FC drop points in Njeru. A draw for the Valley Warriors could still hand them the title, but only if She Maroons FC defeat the current leaders.

Kawempe Muslim Ladies FC head coach Ayub Khalifa remains confident his side can push the title race to the very end.

‘We know the situation clearly. We must win our game and keep believing until the final whistle. The team is ready for the challenge and we shall fight until the end,’ noted Khalifa.

The final day arrives after both sides endured setbacks on the penultimate matchday, adding even more suspense to the title race. She Corporate FC suffered a narrow 1-0 defeat away to Uganda Martyrs High School WFC, while Kawempe Muslim Ladies FC were held to a 1-1 draw by Kampala Queens FC.
