Super Falcons head into their last Group C game of the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations WAFCON encounter against Egypt with so much to play for.
The Super Falcons who began their campaign for an 11th title suffered a 3-2 defeat to debutant, Malawi in their opening game.
The 10- time champions reignited their chances with a 1-0 victory over Zambia and they are now condemned to win against the Cleopatras of Egypt knowing that anything less than victory could end their hopes of retaining the continental title and qualify to next year’s FIFA Women’s World Cup to be hosted in Brazil.
Ahead of today’s clash, head coach, Justine Madugu made four changes from the side that beat Zambia.
Rinsola Babajide and Toni Payne were drafted in for their first starts of the tournament with Asisat Oshoala who leads the attack as Nigeria chase a big win.
