The Croatian Football Federation has officially unveiled its preliminary squad for the 2026 World Cup in Canada, Mexico, and the United States. Coach Zlatko Dalić continues to trust the experienced core of the “Vatreni” with stars such as Luka Modrić, Ivan Perišić, Mateo Kovačić, and Joško Gvardiol leading the team.
Croatia also includes several young talents like Martin Baturina, Petar Sučić, Toni Fruk, and Luka Vušković as the 2018 finalists prepare for another major international challenge. Zlatko Dalić wants to combine experience and youth to help Croatia remain one of the strongest European nations on the world stage.
Croatia will compete in a difficult group alongside Ghana, Panama, and the England national football team.
