Transfers DONE DEAL: John Kamau rejoins Mathare United replacing Kimanzi

Mathare United have confirmed that John Kamau has rejoined the club as head coach for a second spell.

The former Posta Rangers and KCB head coach first led the team during the second leg of the 2021/22 campaign, a season that would ultimately be declared null and void. He replaces Francis Kimanzi.

Joining Kamau as part of the team’s new-look technical unit are Mohammed Muchula, Dismas Onyango, and Ambrose Oriko.Muchula, who most recently served as an assistant coach with Mombasa Stars, will reprise this role and work as Kamau’s first assistant.

Onyango, who stepped away from the team last season, returns as Trainer while Oriko is our new team Physiotherapist.

Kamau and his team have already begun work, gearing up for our return to the top flight for the 2024/25 season.
