Liverpool have reached an agreement with Ibrahim Mbaye over a five-year contract as the Senegalese winger moves closer to leaving Paris Saint-Germain this summer.
The 18-year-old has become one of the Reds’ main targets to strengthen their attack, particularly on the right flank following Mohamed Salah’s departure. According to RMC Sport, Mbaye has already agreed personal terms with Liverpool, while Bayer Leverkusen have also shown interest in the Senegal international.
Liverpool push ahead with PSG talks
Liverpool must now reach an agreement with PSG to complete the transfer. Mbaye has struggled to find a regular place in Luis Enrique’s squad due to strong competition for attacking positions, while the arrivals of Maghnes Akliouche, Ferran Torres and Mika Godts have further complicated his situation.
The Reds also continue to negotiate with PSG for Bradley Barcola, despite a gap between the two clubs’ valuations. With Cody Gakpo attracting interest from Tottenham, Liverpool could make several moves involving PSG before the end of the transfer window.
