Aston Villa have completed the signing of defender Aaron Wan-Bissaka from West Ham United, with the transfer officially confirmed.
The former Manchester United right-back joins Villa initially on loan, with the agreement understood to include a conditional obligation to make the move permanent if specified conditions are met.
Wan-Bissaka was pictured alongside Unique Sports Group CEO Will Salthouse after putting pen to paper on his contract, marking the completion of the deal.
The 28-year-old brings significant Premier League experience to Unai Emery’s squad, having established himself as one of the division’s most accomplished defensive full-backs since arriving in England.
Wan-Bissaka began his senior career at Crystal Palace before earning a move to Manchester United in 2019.
During his time at Old Trafford, he made more than 100 appearances for the club and became particularly recognised for his one-on-one defensive ability and tackling.
He later moved to West Ham, where he continued his Premier League career before securing the switch to Aston Villa.
His arrival is expected to provide Villa with additional depth and competition at right-back as the club prepares for another demanding campaign involving domestic and European commitments.
The conditional buy obligation means Wan-Bissaka’s future at Villa could ultimately become permanent, depending on the terms and conditions attached to the loan agreement.
