Chidera Ejuke, a talented winger who scored the winning goal in Sevilla’s 2-1 victory over Real Valladolid on September 24, has been named Sevilla’s Player of the Month for September.

The 26-year-old was recognised for his outstanding performances for the Rojiblancos during the month under review.

In the summer, the Nigerian left Russian club CSKA Moscow on a free transfer.

His outstanding performances for Sevilla have earned him a recall to the Super Eagles for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying doubleheader against the Mediterranean Knights of Libya.

At the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo on Friday, the Super Eagles will play the Mediterranean Knights.

Next Tuesday, they will go to Benin to play the same opponent.
