President of Medeama SC, Moses Armah Parker, has declared the club’s ambition to not only qualify for the CAF Champions League group stage again but also make a stronger impact on the continental stage.
Speaking with confidence about the club’s aspirations, Parker stressed that Medeama are determined to build on their previous experience in Africa’s elite club competition.
“We will qualify for the group stage, and this time we need to do more,” he said.
The Medeama chief also highlighted the significance of potentially hosting Champions League football in Tarkwa for the very first time, describing it as a major milestone for both the club and the community.
“For the first time, we are bringing Champions League football to Tarkwa,” Parker added.
Medeama made history with their maiden appearance in the CAF Champions League group phase in recent seasons, marking a breakthrough moment for the club on the continental front. The Mauve and Yellow are now eager to establish themselves as regular competitors among Africa’s top clubs.
Parker’s comments are expected to excite supporters in Tarkwa, with anticipation already growing over the possibility of hosting some of the continent’s biggest clubs and stars on home soil.
The club hierarchy believes their previous continental experience has prepared the team for a stronger campaign as preparations continue after winning the Ghana Premier League.
