Liberia FA Launches Club Licensing Refresher Workshop

The LFA has kicked off its Club Licensing Refresher Workshop for stakeholders ahead of the new league season. The refresher brings together club administrators from the First and Second Divisions to review updated regulations and ensure compliance with CAF and FIFA standards.

It also focuses on CLOP, strengthening digital skills on the Club Licensing Online Platform (CLOP) to ensure error-free, timely electronic submissions.

Speaking at the opening, LFA First Vice President Professor Sekou W. Konneh underscored the need for administrative and technical improvements to elevate the standards of the game. He also expressed disappointment over the low turnout of clubs and reemphasized the collective effort required to shift the dynamics of football administration in Liberia.

Francis Dorko, Co-Chairman of the LFA First Instant Board, highlighted the importance of club licensing in raising the quality of football in Liberia and ensuring professional standards, with strong emphasis on meeting deadlines.

The LFA remains committed to upholding high standards through effective licensing, transparent processes, and continuous improvements in governance. By enforcing licensing requirements, the LFA ensures safe, fair, and professional football administration.
