Brazil head into the break with one foot firmly in control of their FIFA World Cup Group C clash, holding a commanding 3-0 lead over Haiti at half-time.

The five-time world champions produced an impressive first-half display, overwhelming Haiti with their pace, movement and attacking quality.

Matheus Cunha opened the scoring to settle any nerves before Vinícius Júnior took centre stage, adding to Brazil’s advantage as the Seleção carved open the Haitian defence.

Brazil dictated possession from the opening whistle and created numerous chances, with Haiti struggling to cope with the relentless pressure.

The South Americans were clinical in front of goal, turning their dominance into a three-goal cushion before the interval.

Haiti showed moments of determination but found it difficult to break through Brazil’s organised defence, while their attempts to counterattack were quickly snuffed out by the tournament favourites.

With a 3-0 advantage at the break, Brazil are on course for their first victory of the tournament after being held to a draw by Morocco in their opening match.

Haiti, meanwhile, face a huge challenge in the second half if they are to mount an unlikely comeback and keep their World Cup hopes alive.
Half-Time Score: Brazil 3-0 Haiti
