The Burundi Football Federation allows its clubs to integrate five replacements recommanded by FIFA at the restart of the leagues on May 21 .
“We are informing you that FIFA allowed temporary five replacements for competitions which must end in 2020 . Each team will make five replacements by keeping three opportunities of replacements” we can read in a mail of the federation .
FIFA justified that it decision is “to help teams facing a condensed calendar and different meteorological conditions, two factors which can have an effect on player’s health” .
Burundi is the only country in Afrca to continue playing during the pandemic . Recently championships stopped just because of eletions in the country.
