The Liberia Football Association (LFA), through its Women’s Football Department, on Thursday concluded a two-day refresher training for new Match Commissioners (MCs) and General Coordinators (GCs) at the LFA Headquarters.
The training was organized ahead of the upcoming women’s football league season, with a focus on strengthening match administration, improving professionalism, and ensuring that Match Commissioners and General Coordinators are adequately prepared for the responsibilities of the new season.
LFA 3rd Vice President Jodie Reid Seton encouraged participants to prioritize punctuality and professionalism in the execution of their responsibilities.
The training focused on matchday administration, including report writing, availability for assignments, appropriate dress code, and addressing challenges encountered in the performance of their duties.
The refresher session provided participants with an opportunity to strengthen their understanding of their respective roles, discuss operational challenges, and reinforce the importance of accountability and effective coordination ahead of the new league season.
The initiative underscores the LFA Women’s Football Department’s commitment to building the capacity of match officials and administrative personnel while promoting improved standards in the organization and delivery of women’s football competitions in Liberia.
