Razak Brimah Returns to Linares Deportivo as Goalkeeper Coach

Former Ghana Black Stars goalkeeper Razak Brimah has returned to Spanish side Linares Deportivo, this time in a coaching capacity after being appointed the club’s new goalkeeper coach.

The 39-year-old former international makes his return to the Segunda Federación outfit after previously representing the club between 2019 and 2022 during his playing career.

Brimah brings considerable experience from his time as a professional goalkeeper, including his spell with the Ghana national team, where he earned international recognition and featured prominently for the Black Stars.

His return to Linares Deportivo marks a new chapter in his football career as he transitions from playing into coaching. The former goalkeeper will now be tasked with developing and preparing the club’s goalkeepers while contributing his experience to the technical team.

Having already spent three years at the club as a player, Brimah is familiar with Linares Deportivo and its environment, making his appointment a homecoming of sorts.

The Ghanaian will now begin his coaching journey at a club where he enjoyed a significant spell as a player, with the ambition of helping develop the next generation of goalkeepers at Linares Deportivo.
