With the 2024/2025 Nigeria Premier Football League NPFL set to kickoff this weekend, Enyimba International has parted ways with 13 players.

Super Eagles goalkeeper Ojo Olorunleke, who joined Al Merrikh on Sunday, Ikenne Cooper, and star attacker Chijioke Mbaoma are at the top of the list of the players who have passed away.

Other players include George Owen, MacBen Otika, Uche Collins, Tochukwu Emmanuel, Anthony Okachi, Desmond Ojietefihan, Chidozie Chilekwu, Ngomere Chisom, and Chibuike Nwaiwu.

The players’ devotion and loyalty to the team was acknowledged by the People’s Elephants.

The first league game features the previous Champions taking on the recently promoted Beyond Limit.who have been replaced with Heartland FC.
