Through many generations, Africa has been a continent on where many football players grew with incredible and original talent. Football fans have kept in mind the memories of these good players who show another face of Africa to the rest of the world. He was the hero of the consecutive wins of his national team against the great Argentine, Colombia and Roumania in this competition. Abédi Pelé, the star of Africa

Much loved and esteemed by all african football fans, Abédi Pelé was a formidable playmaker who can play as winger or as midfielder. Moreover, the Ghanean is three times African Ballon d’Or and once AFCON in 1982. He was also one of the great artisans of the only champions league won by Marseille in 1993. Regarding these performances, his is considered as one of the best african of the begining of 1990 decade.

Samuel Eto’o, a famous player

These last years, Samuel Eto’o has been rewarded many times as the best player of african continent by the CAF. Great striker, he was elevated among the greatest legends of all time in the history of African Football. He is well known all over the world because of his passage at the great clubs like Barcelona football club (Two Champions league) and Inter Milan where he won another C1. Cameroon people do not forget him not because of his great talent of striker, but because he won two Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) for his country.

Didier Drogba was the principal actor of the first qualification of his nation (Côte d’Ivoire) to the World Cup. He was an exceptional striker and scored a lot with his phenomenal head which he adjust so well. This help a lot the charismatic player to win the English Premier League four times and one Champions League in 2012. The Ivorian was also the great concurrent with Samuel Eto’o to the estrade of the African best players during these periods.

Yaya Touré, the exceptional versatile player

The record of Yaya Touré, compatriot of Didier Drogba, lists one C1 and  three Premier League with Manchester City, two LaLiga with Barcelona Football Club. The Ivorian midfielder was known for his good passes and wonderful goals.  After Drogba has retired, he became the leader of the ivorian selection and they won in 2015 the Africa Cup of Nations. Georges Weah is the only African player who won the FIFA Ballon d’Or France Football in 1995. Thomas Nkono, the black spider

They are very few these kinds of goalkeepers who have been elevated to the grade of best players of Africa. Or – let us rather say – the world best players. Nevertheless, Thomas Nkono is done. He is until this then the best goalkeeper that Africa has ever had with two Ballon d’Or and one Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in 1984. Gianluigi Buffon took him as his idol because of his strength in the goalpots. The wonderful run of Cameroon in FIFA World Cup in 1990 is also due to the best one that everybody began to call <<The black spider>>.
