The first shock of the CAF Women’s Champions League was recorded on Monday, 06 November as Ghana’s Ampem Darkoa stunned defending champions, AS Far of Morocco with a come from behind 2-1 victory at the Laurent Pokou Stadium in San Pedro.
Najat Badri’s first-minute goal gave the defending champions, who entered the match as clear favourites, a reassuring lead before halftime.
But, the Ghanaian team rallied in the second half and took the lead through a brilliant goal by Comfort Yeboah in the 57th minute.

With the momentum now in their favour, Yeboah scored again in the 62nd minute to give them a historic victory over the reigning champions in their CAF Women’s Champions League debut.
Meanwhile, in the second Group B game of played on Monday Huracanes FC and AS Mande settled for a 1-1 draw.
Fatoumata Diarra rescued Mande from a loss with a late equalizer.
