Nigeria FIFA 2026 WCQ: Super Eagles Camp To Open June 3 In Uyo

The Super Eagles camp ahead of the forthcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup will come alive in Uyo on Monday, June 3, 2024, in preparation for the for the games against South Africa and Benin Republic.

The Nigerian senior national team has only two points from two games in the current qualifiers. Finidi George’s team will be missing Victor Osimhen and a few other crucial players.

All 23 invited players and coaching staff are anticipated to arrive on the same day to begin their training seasons under Coach Finidi George’s tutelage.

On Friday, June 7, 2024, Nigeria’s Super Eagles will host South Africa at Uyo.

After that, they will go to Abidjan to face the Benin Republic Squirrels three days later.

Finidi, who is third in Group C after draws against Lesotho and Zimbabwe, will be looking to clinch Nigeria’s first qualification win.
