Igwe Madubuike, Abia Warriors’ Assistant Coach, has stated that despite securing their Premiership position, the Umuahia Warlords will approach the game against Doma United with the utmost seriousness.

After a hard-fought victory over Kano Pillars in the 2024 President Federation Cup semi-final, Abia Warriors have landed in Gombe ahead of their Nigeria Premier Football League matchday 38 versus Doma United.

The Abia Warriors and the other Premier League sides will play their final football games of the 2023/2024 NPFL season on Matchday 38.

His words: “It’s not going to be a mere formality match.

“We are going to approach it with all seriousness because we want to end well in the league table.”

The match comes up on Sunday, 23rd June 2024, at the Pantami Stadium, Gombe, by 4 pm.
