Enyimba striker Chijioke Mbaoma scored the most goals in the 2023/24 Nigeria Premier Football League season, with 17.

The 21-year-old was on target in their most recent NPFL match against Plateau United on Sunday, scoring two goals to separate himself from Remo Stars striker Sikiru Alimi, who scored fifteen.

In the last three seasons, Enyimba has produced three successive highest goal scorers in the league, including Victor Mbaoma in 2021/22, Emeka Obioma and now Chijioke Mbaoma for the 2023/24 season.

Mbaoma will receive N200,000 and the Eunisell Golden Boot Plague as awards for being the top goal scorer.
