Ghanaian right winger Abdul Fatawu Issahaku has revealed the club for which he will be playing for when the 2024-2025 kick offs.
The 20-year had a blistering season on loan at Leicester City scoring 13 goals and 6 assists in 43 appearances in Championship to help the Foxes secure Premier League promotion.
So far, Leicester fans were waiting for a decision over the player’s future as he still belongs to Portuguese side Sporting CP.
But Abdul Fatawu Issahaku himself casted every doubt on Saturday night at the 2024 Ghana Football Awards.
“I will be playing for Leicester City next season,” he told Kichgh during the ceremony.
According to the Ghanaian media, Leicester will trigger his €17m release clause this summer to make the deal permanent.
