Brazilian midfielder Casmeiro will miss four games after being sent off in Manchester United’s goalless draw against Southampton in the Premier League on Sunday.
The 31-year old was first shown a yellow card after a challenge on Saints midfielder Carlos Alcaraz after 34 minutes.
However, VAR called referee Anthony Taylor to come and review the action after which he cancelled the yellow card to show Casemiro a stratight red card.

Casemiro will now serve a four-match ban in domestic competitions but will be available for the Europa League.
Manchester United announced that his supension is “starting with next Sunday’s clash versus Fulham at Old Trafford in the Emirates FA Cup.”
“The 31-year-old will then sit out league games with Newcastle (away), Brentford and Everton (both at home) following the international break.”
