Cristiano Ronaldo mother Dolores Aveiro recalled a moment she met his son’s bitter rival Lionel Messi with his grandson Cristiano Jr during a ceremony.
Messi and Ronaldo shares the stage for so many years now and both of them continue to deliver.
The Argentinean provided his 300th club assists (353 for club and country, the most in football history) on Saturday in Paris Saint-Germain’s 2-1 win over while CR7 bagged February Player of The Month Award in Saudi Arabia.

The 38-year old’s mother was at 2017 Ballon d’or ceremony with his son and met Lionel Messi.
Speaking after the moment, Dolores Aveiro trolled the former FC Barcelona star with his height.
“I was with him and I said, ‘look, it’s Messi, and he replied, ‘that’s not Messi, he’s short”, he said, as per SPORTbible.
“Then my son encouraged him to wave. Messi is a very good person. My grandson is already taller than him, [laughs] it was a very fun moment.”
