CAF Champions League CAF Confed Cup:Nabi Confident Of Victory Against Rivers United

The Young Africans of Tanzania are in Nigeria to advance in the competition, according to Nasredinne Nabi, the team’s head coach.

On Sunday in Uyo, the first leg quarterfinal of the Confederation Cup will pit the Tanzanian team against Rivers United of Nigeria.

They traveled from Lagos to Uyo on Saturday after arriving on Friday. They trained at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium, where the match will be played.

The coach emphasized the reasons they are in Nigeria during the news conference.

“We don’t consider ourselves to be great just because we topped our group.

“We have a lot of respect for our opponents but our aim is to make sure we progress forward. 

We lost here back in 2021 due to many factors but we are hoping to have a different game“, he said.
