CAF Champions League CAF Confed Cup: Young Africans Departs Tanzania For Nigeria

The Young Africans of Tanzania will leave Dar es Salaam on Thursday in order to go to Nigeria’s Rivers United for the first leg of their quarterfinal CAF Confederation Cup match.

Following their 0-1 away victory over TP Mazembe in the last group match, the Tanzanian team won their group and advanced to the Confederations Cup quarterfinals.

They were paired with Rivers United, and the first leg will take place this weekend in Nigeria.

The team will fly on Ethiopian Airlines out of the nation’s capital, Dar es Salaam, on their way to Nigeria, according to a report from the team’s camp.

Tickets for the second leg of the match, which is scheduled to take place at Benjamin Mkapa Stadium on April 30, 2023, are currently on sale in Tanzania.
