Premier League Haaland breaks Salah record as City run riot over Arsenal at the Etihad

Manchester City striker Erling Haaland broke a Mohamed Salah record in the Premier League with his goal in his side’s 4-1 victory over Arsenal at the Etihad Stadium.

The Norwegian is the leading top scorer in the Premier League this season and could not leave the Etihad without scoring.

After providing two assists for Kevin De Bruyne, Haaland scored his own goal in the additional time (90+5) and made history.

Tha stoppage time goal is the 33rd he is scoring this season in the Premier League.

Meaning that Haaland holds now the record for most goals in a single 38-match season in the history of Premier League.

He broke Mohamed Salah’s 32 goal tally during the 2017-2018 campaign.
