Victor Osimhen of Napoli and the Super Eagles has been put forward for the Serie A Best Striker of the Season honor.
On Wednesday, Serie A’s Twitter account posted a notice about this.
Lautaro Martinez of Inter Milan and Rafael Leao of AC Milan will compete for the honor alongside Osimhen.
With one game left in the season, the Nigerian striker presently holds the top spot in the Serie A scoring rankings with 25 goals, four goals more than Martinez.

For the first time since the 1989–1990 season, he motivated Napoli to win the league championship.
Martinez will play in the Champions League final against Manchester City in addition to having already assisted Inter in winning the Coppa Italia.
While Leao has made 47 appearances in all competitions with 14 goals and 15 assists, helping Milan earn a spot in the Champions League for the upcoming season.
